Two statues resembling moais - Easter Island statues - in the Nacka Strands district of Stockholm

 

They are designed by artists Hakan Sanchis and Anna Johansen for a film called The Last Tree.

Celebration of the 500th anniversary of Stockholm’s liberation

Midsummer 2023 marks 500 years since Gustav Eriksson Vasa entered Stockholm after a war that is more than two years long. 

 The historical parade involved many different groups of participants, all related to the day and time.
